GatorClips™ Oil Cooler Mounting Clamps

GatorClips™ are the best, most secure way to mount an oil cooler to bracketry or flat panels. GatorClips™ grip the cooler at its strongest point, the core tubes, and provide a secure, durable connection to your vehicle.

Totally reusable – A stack of three GatorClips™ clamp the cooler securely and create a 1/2" clearance between the cooler and any mounting surface, solidly locking it in position and allowing additional airflow over all surfaces.

Set of 6 recommended for 4-pass coolers (2-point mount); set of 9 recommended for 6-pass coolers (3-point mount). GatorClips™ are supplied with some coolers, and are available as an accessory kit (below) to fit any Flex-a-lite tube & tin oil cooler.

Remount Kits

When reinstalling an oil cooler as a thru-core installation, the mounting hardware should be replaced. These are the same nylon bolts and nuts included in our Translife coolers and our HD engine oil coolers. Includes 4 sets of nylon bolts, washers, push-nuts and rubber spacers.

Hose Kits for heavy duty oil coolers

1/2" I.D. neoprene hoses; 1/2"male NPT x 8" female S.A.E. 45° fitting ends. High pressure hose provides a direct connection to our Heavy Duty engine oil coolers with 1/2" FPT fittings. Supplied with brass hose adapter fittings to fit all Flex-a-lite (and most other) sandwich adapters.

Heavy duty cooler edge protectors

Protects the side fins of the cooler from damage due to road debris. Gives cooler a custom finished look.

Ford Radiator Adapter Fitting – 1983 on
Some Ford products were produced with deep threads in the tranny cooler fittings at the radiator. Use this barbed fitting kit to adapt plain-end oil hose to the Ford radiator when installing a TransLife cooler as an auxiliary transmission cooler on these vehicles. Includes O-rings
