Flex-a-lite 50th Anniversary Camaro SS Project Update

Some time ago, we introduced the Flex-a-lite Camaro SS project car that we were building with Duncan Speed & Custom in Lakewood, WA, to take on our 50th Anniversary Tour. Since then, we've put together a video that shows all of the work that Bill and Will Duncan did on the car to add performance and improve the appearance of the Camaro

Why did we choose a Camaro to help us celebrate our 50th anniversary? At the last SEMA show, we introduced a Flex-a-fit® direct-fit aluminum radiator and electric fan combination for the popular 2010-2011 Camaro.

For the show, we outfitted an otherwise stock Camaro SS with the new system (you can watch the installation by clicking here). As we started making preparations for our 50th Anniversary Tour, we decided to add a Flowmaster exhaust system, Airaid air intake, SuperChips Vivid Linq programmer, Rocket Racing Wheels and a host of race-inspired underhood dress-up components from Moroso.

While our 50-day 50th Anniversary Tour is now complete, there's still one more chance for you to see the Flex-a-lite Camaro SS project car. It will be on display in our booth at the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas. That will be the last opportunity for people to tour the mobile museum during the 50th Anniversary Tour and enter to win the trip to Flex-a-lite headquarters.
